Speaking about her preparation for the film, Sharma reveals the challenges involved. “For Bastar-The Naxal Story, I had to put on 10 kgs,” she states. However, the role also demanded physical fitness for action sequences. This meant Sharma had to find a way to gain weight while staying fit enough to climb mountains and handle rifles.

Her unique weight-gaining diet involved a surprising combination: “I ate around 15 bananas every day,” Sharma explains. For added calories and healthy fats, she also incorporated alsi laddoos (flax seed laddoos), with a daily quota of four, courtesy of a thoughtful care package from her mother. This dedication to the role stands in stark contrast to her preparation for “Sunflower” season 2, where she had to maintain a toned physique for her character, Rosie, a bar dancer known for her captivating saree appearances.
