Aug 11, 2026“Architecture and music have more in common than we realise. Both begin with an idea, but what finally stays with you is the emotion they create. A beautiful space has rhythm, harmony, balance and its own personality, just like a piece of music. I am delighted to be here with Ashok Dhamankar and the team at Society Interiors & Design to celebrate JTCPL Designs and the wonderful creative work featured in this special issue,” said Raju Singh.
Leslee Lewis drew a parallel between composing music and creating a memorable space.
“Great design is very much like great music. There is rhythm, there are layers, there are contrasts, and yet everything has to come together as one. When it is done right, you don’t notice the effort — you simply feel it. That is what I enjoyed about seeing the work of JTCPL Designs, and I am happy to join Ashok Dhamankar and Society Interiors & Design in celebrating creativity that has such a strong individual identity,” said Leslee Lewis.
Mukesh Rishi said, “We spend such a large part of our lives within spaces, so architecture and interiors have a tremendous influence on how we feel. Good design is not merely about luxury or appearance; it is about creating an environment that connects with the person who experiences it.”
Ayeesha Aiman added, “Today, personal style is reflected not only in what we wear but also in the spaces we choose to live and work in. A beautifully conceived space tells a story about the people behind it, and it is lovely to be part of an occasion that celebrates that creativity.”
For Society Interiors & Design, the special issue continues the publication’s focus on recognising architects, designers and creative practices contributing to the evolving language of Indian architecture and interiors. Under Ashok Dhamankar and the Magnate Publishing team, the publication has continued to provide a platform for noteworthy design, innovation and creative expression.
Swati Balgi, Consulting Editor, joined Dhamankar and the Magnate team in welcoming the guests and celebrating an edition that places architecture and design at the heart of a wider creative conversation.
The presence of musical luminaries Raju Singh and Leslee Lewis, alongside Mukesh Rishi and Ayeesha Aiman, brought together different creative worlds, each connected by imagination, originality and the ability to create an experience.
At the heart of the occasion remained JTCPL Designs and its special cover feature in Society Interiors & Design — celebrating architecture and interiors not simply for their visual appeal, but for the vision, purpose and personality that transform spaces into experiences.
The unveiling became more than the launch of a new magazine issue; it was a meeting of architecture, interiors, music and cinema — different creative languages united by the power of an idea well expressed.
