Vicky Kaushal and Pritam Shine at GJEPC’s IIJS Premiere Event
Actor Vicky Kaushal and music maestro Pritam added glamour and excitement to the 39th India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) Premiere, organized by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the second-largest gem and jewellery exhibition in the world.
The event featured the 8th edition of the esteemed charity dinner, ‘Jewellers for Hope,’ where GJEPC raised an impressive donation for Relief Projects India, a leading NGO focused on women and child-related issues. Vicky Kaushal, a supporter of Relief Projects India, personally attended the event and spoke about the organization’s impact on the lives of the less fortunate through education, health, and awareness initiatives. The NGO primarily addresses critical issues such as female infanticide, foeticide, boy-child preference, and challenges faced by women and children in rural villages. Actress and model Sarah-Jane Dias interviewed Vicky Kaushal during the event.
Vicky Kaushal expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to extend many thanks and gratitude to Jewellers for Hope and The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council for recognizing and supporting a cause which is so close to my heart – Relief Projects India (RPI). I am extremely proud of the work that RPI has put in over the years for their education programme – Mountain View School, which is dedicated to providing quality education and a safe environment to all underprivileged kids in the area.”

He expressed optimism that the collective efforts of the industry would bring about positive transformation and make a lasting impact on the lives of the less fortunate.
