Rego’s album showcases his exceptional talent as he collaborates with a live band to bring these iconic tracks to life. The young rock star is determined to put India on the global music map by paying tribute to legendary music icons such as Justin Bieber, Freddie Mercury, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Charlie Puth, Bruno Mars, The Beatles, Bryan Adams, and many more internationally renowned artists.
Rego’s passion and dedication to his craft are evident as he declares, “No one has ever released an album full of legendary music icons like this, and I am very happy to do it. I believe my grandfather is watching me and blessing me that today I am doing good work.”

Rego’s striking resemblance to his late grandfather, Bappi Lahiri, has not gone unnoticed. This uncanny similarity further adds to the intrigue surrounding this young prodigy. Starting his musical journey at the tender age of two, Rego attributes his interest in Western and classical music to his grandfather’s influence. He was born into a family of musicians, and his training began under the guidance of his mother and grandfather.
Despite his young age and demanding schedule, Rego excels both as a student and an international star. Balancing his studies with his passion for music presents its challenges, but Rego believes it is all worth it when music is your true calling.
His dedication to his craft is evident as he pursues professional training under renowned singer and music coach Yvie Burnett, who has worked with the likes of Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran. Rego also receives guidance from Samantha, another celebrated coach of global singers.
Not only is Rego a talented singer, but he is also an actor by passion. Impressively, he can sing in seven languages, including Italian, Spanish, English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, and even rap. His versatility is showcased through his cover of “Despacito” in Spanish. Rego’s musical prowess extends beyond international hits, as he also sings Bhajans, Slokas, Ganesh Vandans, and Hanuman Chalisa. Among his Bollywood favorites are Arijit Singh, Badshah, and Raftaar.
Rego’s musical journey began at the age of four when he started performing live on stage alongside his grandfather, Bappi Lahiri. In addition to his chart-topping single “Bachcha Party,” Rego has lent his outstanding vocals to other notable tracks like “Football is My Dream” (2018) and “Kal Chutti Hai” (2021).

He carries forward the musical legacy of the Lahiri family, now representing the fourth generation of talented musicians, following in the footsteps of his great grandparents Bansari Lahiri, Bappi Lahiri, Rema Lahiri, and Bappa Lahiri.
