Mumbai’s Butterfly was the venue for the launch of O Yaara on October 8. Directed by Shadab Siddiqui, the musical short drama stars Ajaz Khan, Shawar Ali and Krispie Kristina. Singer Badshah, Munawar Faruqui, Hema Sharma and Puneet Superstar were also among the guests present at the event.
Set in Goa, O Yaara tells a 10-minute story that moves between romance, action and danger. Love is at the heart of the film, but things are not as simple as they seem, with power and the darker side of Goa adding to the conflict.
Ajaz Khan has written the story, while Zameer Ahmad has produced the film. Aaman Trikha has sung for the project, with MD Irfan Ali credited for the music and lyrics. Rajkumar K. has handled the cinematography.
