Mumbai: Marriage. Desire. Temptation. Everything that you will find here right next door. What if the life you want is just one wall away from the life you have? ShemarooMe explores that question in Shemaroo Premiere’s latest six-episode Hindi relationship drama, Dil Padosi, premiering on 15th October 2026. Set in a small-town colony, the series is a story of desire, marriage and temptation, and the quiet cracks behind the walls of a seemingly perfect home.
Dil Padosi explores what people feel but never say. The perfect partners who look like a happily married couple, yet beneath the routine lie unspoken tension, distance and truths neither is ready to face. Next door, the very open-minded and modern couple live by a very different rulebook: an open relationship in which each is aware of the other’s choices. Expect uncomfortable truths, and four characters you will love, judge and argue about in equal measure. It is the kind of series you will want to talk about with your friends and your partner the moment an episode ends.
Starring Nyrraa M Banerji, Jai Talwar, Shivaani M Singh and Pranav Kumaarr, the series explores what happens when the spark missing in a marriage suddenly comes from next door. Everything takes an unexpected turn when new neighbours, Diya and Ronak, enter the picture. As familiar routines begin to shift and the boundaries between relationships start to blur, Mohak and Manjari find themselves confronting desires, choices and emotions they never anticipated.

Oct 10, 2026With its layered take on intimacy, marriage, and ambition, the series asks what happens when the life you have built begins to feel different from the life you desire.
Nyrraa M Banerji plays Diya, a bold, ambitious and self-assured boss lady who runs her life on her own terms, and whose arrival next door changes the dynamics around her. “Honestly, I was drawn to Diya because she is so unapologetically herself, and so am I. She has ambition, confidence and a very strong sense of who she is, and I really enjoyed stepping into that space. I have always believed that the most interesting characters are the ones you can’t easily put into a box, and Diya is definitely one of them. I loved that she doesn’t wait for life to happen to her; she makes things happen. I think Diya will surprise people, and I’m looking forward to seeing whether they love her, dislike her or do a little bit of both! Working on Dil Padosi with ShemarooMe was exciting because the story gives actors and their characters room to be complicated and unpredictable.”
Jai Talwar portrays Mohak, a married man caught between the comfort of a familiar life and being the perfect ideal husband that everyone expects to see. “What I enjoyed most about Mohak is that he isn’t loud or dramatic. A lot of what he feels is beneath the surface, and as an actor, those characters are always exciting because you get to say a lot without actually saying it. The character isn’t simply about choosing between two people; it’s about understanding what is missing within himself and choosing himself over others. The shoot was also a great experience because there was a lot of trust within the ensemble. With Dil Padosi, Shemaroo allowed me to explore a very complex emotional space, and I’m really looking forward to the audience’s reaction.”

Oct 4, 2026Shivaani M Singh plays Manjari, a homemaker whose quiet, predictable world begins to change when someone makes her feel seen again. “Manjari is someone who has spent a large part of her life putting her home and marriage first. Somewhere along the way, she stopped asking herself what she wants and what makes her happy. That emotional awakening is what made her so special for me as an actor. Manjari hasn’t stopped loving her life; she has just stopped being asked how she feels inside it. The moment someone notices her is tiny, but it changes everything. I have met many Manjaris in every city I have visited, and I hope they see themselves on screen without feeling judged.”
Pranav Kumaarr essays Ronak, an influencer and chef whose charm, creativity and spontaneity bring an entirely new energy. “What excited me about Dil Padosi was that every character has something unexpected to reveal. I was especially happy to be part of a Shemaroo Premiere because the platform has been building a really interesting space for stories that are bold and different in their treatment. Ronak gave me a chance to bring in a completely different energy, and I had a fantastic time doing it. Plus, playing a chef gave me a very good excuse to eat on set! I loved that there is much more to Ronak than just his charm.”
Dil Padosi adds to ShemarooMe’s growing slate of contemporary, genre-led Hindi stories built around complex human relationships, and it arrives as part of Shemaroo Premiere. Dil Padosi is produced by Victor Tango Entertainment. This time, the drama is closer than ever: right next door.
Dil Padosi premieres on 15th October, exclusively on ShemarooMe as part of Shemaroo Premiere.
