Renowned wig designer Jeetendra S Salvi, fondly known as Bala Bhai, has been honored with the prestigious Akhand Bharat Gaurav Award for his remarkable contributions to the film industry. With a career spanning over 22 years, Jeetendra has established himself as a prominent figure in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema. Under the guidance of his elder brother and mentor, Mr. Surendra Salvi ji, Jeetendra has made significant strides in the world of film hairstyling, catering to the needs of esteemed actors and actresses.
Jeetendra’s exceptional craftsmanship has earned him recognition and praise from industry stalwarts such as Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Anupam Kher, Mr. Boman Irani, and many others. The Akhand Bharat Gaurav Award ceremony, organized by Rajkumar Tiwari, editor, and publisher of Mumbai’s esteemed weekly newspaper ‘Mumbai Global,’ and Puneet Khare of ‘Mayuri Media Work,’ was held at the ‘Mukti Cultural Hub’ in Andheri, Mumbai. The event, now in its fourth season, was marked by grandeur and splendor, with distinguished personalities from the entertainment industry gracing the occasion.
Bollywood singer Padmabhushan Udit Narayan and disco dancer Vijay Benedict, along with Mrs. Saraswati Devi, mother of Rajkumar Tiwari, inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. The event was co-organized by Ram Prasad Sharma, with Puneet Khare serving as the primary organizer. Notable personalities from various fields were felicitated with awards, including prominent figures from the film industry, music fraternity, and social service sector.
