There’s no neat or conventional way to describe Candy and the Pizza Ggirl and that’s precisely its biggest win. The film thrives on chaos, absurdity, and a kind of unpredictable storytelling that rarely finds space in mainstream Bollywood. It’s loud, strange, sometimes outrageous and completely unapologetic about its tone. You don’t watch this film expecting logic, you experience it like a wild ride that somehow manages to stay on track.

At the heart of this madness is Ninad Kamat, delivering what can only be described as a full-blown reinvention. This doesn’t feel like a comeback in the traditional sense, it feels like an actor rediscovering himself and pushing boundaries. Ninad brings a restless, almost volatile energy to the screen, constantly shifting gears between humor, tension, and unpredictability. There’s a certain fearlessness in his performance that holds the film together, even when it threatens to spiral into complete chaos. Simply put, he doesn’t just perform, he dominates the narrative.

Director Akkhil Kapur deserves serious credit for attempting and largely pulling off, something this tonally tricky. The film operates in a space that reminds you of cult dark comedies like Delhi Belly, Ludo, or even Andhadhun, where absurdity meets precision. It plays out like a domino chain of bizarre events - each moment crazier than the last, yet there’s a surprising control in how it all unfolds. Maintaining coherence in such a warped narrative isn’t easy, but Kapur ensures the film never completely loses its grip.

Among the supporting cast, Dara Sandhu emerges as a genuine surprise. There’s a natural ease and confidence in his performance that makes him instantly watchable. He doesn’t try too hard, which works perfectly in a film that already operates at a heightened pitch. Shivani Singh, on the other hand, commands attention every time she’s on screen. There’s a strong, assured presence in her performance that cuts through the chaos, marking her as a clear standout.

Priya brings in a refreshing shift with a quirky, offbeat avatar that feels distinctly different from what audiences may have seen from her before. It’s a performance that leans into the film’s eccentricity without losing its individuality. Meanwhile, Nimish and Aniket add valuable texture to the narrative, contributing to the film’s tone with moments that enhance both its humor and unpredictability.

What truly defines Candy and the Pizza Ggirl is its tone. This is not a film designed to please everyone and it doesn’t try to. It’s experimental, risky, and proudly unconventional. The humor is often bizarre, the situations borderline outrageous, and the storytelling deliberately chaotic. But within all that madness lies a distinct identity - something that feels fresh in an industry that often plays safe.

This is the kind of film that may divide audiences initially, but over time, could very well build a strong cult following. It has that rare quality of being rewatchable - not because it’s easy, but because it’s layered with moments you might miss the first time around.

Candy and the Pizza Ggirl doesn’t aim to fit into a box - it breaks it, reshapes it, and then laughs at the idea of structure altogether. And in doing so, it delivers a cinematic experience that is as bizarre as it is memorable
