In 2023, Medha ignited the screens with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, a critically acclaimed film that showcased Medha at her emotional best, standing as solid as a rock and adding weight to the film’s emotional world.

This year, Medha is coming back on the big screens with Prasshant Jha’s Ginny Wedss Sunny 2, co-starring Avinash Tiwary. This time, she embraces a lighthearted shade of a bubbly young girl against a backdrop of a vibrant wedding. “70% of me is a lot like her,” she says about her character and adds, “No person is one-dimensional. When Ginny came to me, I could access those parts of me.” What adds an edge to her character is how well she balances the western and ethnic aesthetics, which display many shades of her role, mood, and arcs.
