Versatile powerhouse actress Raashii Khanna has often emphasised on the need to adapt sustainable lifestyle in order to keep our environment healthy. Now, to showcase her endeavour towards a better future, Raashii attended an event hosted by reputed social activists Asif Bhamla and Saher Bhamla’s Bhamla Foundation. The actress was seen marking her presence at the unveiling of an interactive video campaign as well as the poster launch of the Bhoomi Namaskar anthem.
“I am very happy to be here. Bhamla Foundation has been always at the forefront of doing activities that spread awareness about sustainable living and ways to save the environment with acts such as planting trees or clean the beaches. These small things can make a big impact. In fact, even I plant trees on my birthday every year as a tradition but environment day is not just supposed to be one day, it’s supposed to be everyday. We’re supposed to celebrate our environment for all that it has given us. Inn chote chote ways me hum iss planet ko behtar bana sakte hai apni future generations ke liye,” the actress said.
The event, which took place at Carter Road Amphitheater, saw several high-profile dignitaries such as Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, and various central ministers, bureaucrats, businessmen, and film personalities in attendance. Raashii’s involvement highlighted her commitment towards environmental causes and her influence as a public figure. The actress has set a positive example for her followers and the community by participating in the events that were organised to celebrate World Environment Day.
On the work front, Raashii’s Tamil film ‘Aranmanai 4’ registered itself as Tamil industry’s first hit in 2024 with over Rs 100 crore collection worldwide. The film established her as the Golden Girl with three consecutive Tamil hits. Raashii is now looking forward to the release of her Hindi films ‘The Sabarmati Report’ and ‘Talaakhon Mein Ek’, She also has Telugu film ‘Telusu Kada’ in the pipeline.
