Geet Shah has mostly played simple female characters in her films. She wants to play challenging roles. The character of an innocent girl suits her personality more. Geet has been passionate about acting since childhood. She grew up in Mumbai. Since she does not come from a filmy background, she had to give many auditions in the beginning. Geet Shah mentioned an interesting incident related to her audition and told that when she was desperate to work in films, she started giving auditions but one day she met with an accident and had eight fractures in one of her legs and the doctor advised her to rest. Everyone asked her to take a break from work but Geet was so passionate about acting that she went to give the audition in a wheelchair. Seeing her dedication towards work, everyone was impressed and she was selected. Meanwhile, they waited for her leg to heal and the shooting began but here also the film could not be released due to some reason. But with this film, Geet Shah had made her debut in South Indian films and she started getting work there and from here Geet’s film career progressed. And she has been a part of the film industry for many years and she will continue working in the future too.
