Mumbai: Actor Aditya Khurana, who is currently seen in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, has always believed that fashion is an extension of one’s personality. While trends continue to evolve, the actor prefers to keep his personal style effortless, comfortable and true to himself. From embracing baggy silhouettes for casual outings to choosing timeless pieces over blindly following trends, Aditya believes that confidence is what truly completes any look.
Talking about how he would describe his personal style, Aditya says, “I’ve always liked to keep my style simple but significant. Overdressing was never really my thing. I believe you don’t always need to wear something extravagant to make an impression. For me, it is more about choosing something that looks effortless, feels comfortable and still reflects my personality. I like keeping my looks clean and easy while making sure there is something that makes them stand out.”
While Aditya does keep an eye on the latest fashion trends, he is not someone who would blindly follow every trend. He believes that fashion should complement an individual's personality rather than dictate it. “I do follow fashion trends, but I don’t blindly follow everything that is trending. If something doesn’t match my personal style or doesn’t make me feel comfortable, I wouldn’t wear it just because it is fashionable. I feel fashion is very personal, and trends should be adapted according to your personality rather than completely changing your style to fit into a trend. I like taking inspiration from trends while still staying true to what suits me,” he shares.

Aug 26, 2026When it comes to his everyday wardrobe, comfort takes centre stage, with baggy clothes being one of his go-to choices. “Baggy clothes are definitely a primary part of my everyday wardrobe. I love the comfort and effortless vibe that oversized and baggy outfits bring. For a casual day out, I usually prefer something relaxed and easy to carry rather than something that requires too much effort. I feel you can look stylish even in the simplest outfit as long as you are comfortable and carry it with confidence,” says Aditya.
Interestingly, the actor does not have one particular designer or fashion label that he is loyal to. For him, it is more about finding something that fits his personality and aesthetic. “Nothing as such. There isn’t any particular brand or designer that I would always stick to. I like exploring different options and choosing pieces based on what catches my eye and what suits my personality. For me, it is less about the label and more about how the outfit looks, feels and fits into my personal style,” he explains.
Among the many fashion moments he has experienced, one red carpet appearance holds a particularly special place in Aditya’s heart. He recalls the moment following his victory at the MAN OF THE WORLD title as one that remains timeless for him. “My most memorable red carpet moment has to be the one after winning the MAN OF THE WORLD title. That entire moment is something I will always carry with me. It wasn’t just about the outfit or walking the red carpet; it was the emotion attached to that achievement. Every time I think about that moment, it feels timeless and almost like it never really ended. In simple words, it was magical, and definitely one of the most special fashion moments of my life,” he recalls.

Aug 25, 2026For Aditya, fashion also plays a role in how people express their individuality. He believes there is no single definition of good style because everyone has their own way of presenting themselves. “I think every influencer is good at what they are doing, and everyone has their own unique way of presenting themselves to the world. Fashion gives you the freedom to express that individuality. For me, confidence comes from being comfortable with who I am and how I choose to present myself. The way you dress can definitely influence your presence, but ultimately it is your personality and the confidence with which you carry yourself that makes the real difference,” he says.
The actor also believes in being mindful about fashion consumption and sees value in making more thoughtful wardrobe choices. “Yes, I do believe that being mindful about what we buy and how often we buy is important. Fashion is constantly evolving, but that doesn’t mean we need to keep replacing everything in our wardrobe. I believe in investing in pieces that you genuinely like and that you know you will wear multiple times. Repeating outfits or styling the same piece differently should never be seen as a bad thing. It is also a much more practical and responsible approach to fashion,” Aditya shares.
When asked about the best fashion advice he has received, Aditya points to a simple thought that has stayed with him: “The best fashion advice I’ve ever received is, ‘Style is what we buy, fashion is how we wear it.’ I really believe in that because two people can wear the same outfit and carry it in completely different ways. What makes an outfit special is not always the price tag or the brand but the way you style it and the confidence with which you carry it. Your personal style is what ultimately makes the fashion yours.”
Comfort, according to Aditya, is non-negotiable even when he is dressing up for a glamorous appearance. “For me, comfort is always the primary aspect before wearing anything. I genuinely believe you can never shine in something you are not comfortable or confident wearing. Even when I want to create a glamorous look, I make sure that the outfit feels like me and allows me to be myself. When you are comfortable in what you are wearing, it automatically reflects in your confidence, body language and overall presence. So, I always try to find that balance where comfort and glam can come together naturally,” he says.
