I was born on 15 March 1987 in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. After completing my studies, I started my own business. My father Babu Ram Prajapati was also a businessman. Many big producers of Bollywood were connected with my father. There are many such producers, if my father was not there, they would not have been so big. I do not want to take their names.
What business did you start?
I had a hotel. After this, I started carpet business. Apart from this, I had a construction business. After starting many businesses like this, I started a finance company. I have seven airlines of my own in the airlines. Right now I have leased 3 Jet Airlines for 30 years. I have four airlines of my own. All this continued and then suddenly some tragedy happened at home. My father and younger brother passed away.
It came to my mind how Ratan Tata sahab just left. People mourned for a few days. He is still alive in the hearts of many people. He is alive in our hearts too, but I felt that the film line is such that we watch him even after a person leaves this world.
When you thought of coming into films, which was the first film you signed?

My first film was Telugu ‘Akhila’. You must have heard an incident from South that a doctor girl’s scooty breaks down and she gets raped. The rapists are killed in an encounter by the police. This film is based on the same incident. During this time, I did a film in Telugu called ‘Juari’ and with Ravi Teja. In the meantime, many music videos also came.
How did you start in South cinema, could you have started your career with Bollywood films if you wanted?
I was already fond of working in the South film industry. I have been a big fan of NTR sahab. I used to watch all his films. Sometimes I used to keep a getup like him. People used to say that you have kept a hero’s getup. I used to get a lot of inspiration from him.

I went to Hyderabad once. I was having breakfast in a hotel there. We were talking about films. I met director C Mohan Rao there. My journey started from there. For three years, I only sent him a good morning message. He kept calling me for auditions.
What did you find so special about the South Industry?
I feel that the kind of films that the South Industry can make with new stars is not there in our Bollywood. The South Industry people present new talent well in their films. They have the ability to polish new talent. However, I have tried a lot in Bollywood before. But things did not work out here. Most of the people I met were frauds.
How do you see your career in Bollywood right now?
Right now my focus is on Bollywood. After ‘Love is Forever’, my very big film ‘Daniel’ is going to be launched. Chunky Pandey, Prateek Babbar and Mahesh Manjrekar have very important roles in it.
I will be seen in a very different look in it. This film is being made in a very different way. It is a completely action film.
And, what are your upcoming films?
Right now I have completed shooting for a Reliance film ‘Jackie Bhai’. I am playing the lead role in it. It stars Chunky Pandey and Mimoh Chakraborty. And, talks are going on for many more projects.
