Mumbai, February 21, 2024: Drools Pet Food Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading pet food brand, has launched its latest campaign, “Back of the Pack,” aimed at promoting informed pet nutrition. The campaign features Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan as its new brand ambassador. It encourages pet owners to read and understand the ingredients listed on pet food packets to ensure optimal nutrition for their pets. Sara, along with other Drools ambassadors, will actively participate in the campaign.

It highlights the importance of identifying Real Chicken and Eggs as primary ingredients and avoiding vague terms like “meat meal” or “by-products.” By encouraging a comprehensive analysis of pet food options, Drools advocates for choices that meet pets’ specific needs and promote their well-being.

To engage pet owners and raise awareness, Drools has initiated the “Read the Back of Pack Challenge.” Participants are encouraged to create videos on Instagram by flipping the pet food pack and reading aloud the ingredients list. The contest runs from February 20, 2024, to March 10, 2024, with participants required to tag @droolsindia and use hashtags #DroolsIndia, #MissionBOP, and #ReadtheBackOfPackChallenge.
Dr. Sinha added, “We invite pet lovers to join the ‘Read the Back of Pack Challenge’, decode ingredients, and choose pet food with real ingredients and zero by-products for the well-being of their beloved companions.”
Winners of the challenge will be selected based on the videos with the highest number of likes. The top 10 contestants will win an international trip, while the next 10 will receive a year’s supply of DROOLS Pet Food & Treats. Additionally, the subsequent 80 contestants will be rewarded with a generous three-month supply.
