Rahman responded with grace, explaining that he felt he was above the cinema world. In addition, he said that his team has already started working toward the goal of opening a Broadway theater in Chennai.

“I don’t see myself only in the movie world strangely,” AR Rahman stated in an interview with Times Now Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar. Because you become aware of your own smallness when you travel. Furthermore, you are both small and large in comparison to composers and artists around the world. Large in certain areas and tiny in others.

In reality, my goal is to establish an arts collective in Chennai and provide a space where we can perform Broadway-style performances. Thus, that’s what my pals and I are preparing to accomplish. And that’s a big task because it’s scary to consider business, finances, and what might go wrong.”
