The Madhya Pradesh Eklavya Award is a significant recognition at the state level, bestowed upon talented athletes by the government of Madhya Pradesh. The state government regularly honors athletes who have displayed exceptional prowess in their respective fields. Recently, the Madhya Pradesh Sports Awards were announced, and it was during this ceremony that Palak Sharma received her well-deserved accolade.
The awards ceremony took place at the martial arts auditorium of Tatya Tope Stadium in Bhopal. During the event, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with the state government, honored a total of 47 athletes and sports personalities. National Sports cum Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur also graced the occasion. Palak Sharma was presented with the Madhya Pradesh Ekalavya Award for the year 2022. The award included a citation, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, and a prestigious medal.

- 4 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals in senior nationals.
- 2 silver medals in national games.
- 6 gold medals in SGFI (School Games Federation of India).
- 4 gold medals in RIP (Rajya Khel Prashikshan).
Palak Sharma has not only showcased her talent nationally but has also made India proud on the international stage with one gold and two silver medals in the 10th Asian Age Group Championship.
In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Palak Sharma has received several awards, including the Malwa Awards in 2019, the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award in 2021, and the Eklavya Award in 2022. Furthermore, in 2023, she was honored with the prestigious Indore Gaurav Award.
