"I was mesmerized by the world of science," she admits. "But when I was 19, I found myself being drawn towards the glitz and glam of showbiz. I was always a nerd with reading glasses! So, to see myself all dolled up in a glamorous avatar was something I had never ever imagined or experienced in my life! It felt ecstatic and surreal," she adds with a smile.
Sherlyn's journey in the entertainment industry has been nothing short of remarkable. She reflects on her first film, "Red Swastik," produced by Yash Raj, in which she portrayed a complex character, a serial killer. The film's director, Vinod Pande, recognized her potential during the audition and believed she was the perfect fit for the role. "The rest is history," Sherlyn proudly states.

She faced humiliation and questioning of her worthiness, yet her determination remained unshaken. "It would be an understatement to say that I faced struggle," she says. "I was often humiliated, and my worthiness was questioned time and again. Every time they broke my spirit, I would take days and weeks to heal and to strive again."
