Saturday has turned into a much bigger day for Ramayana Part One, with audience turnout rising noticeably across several markets. The Ranbir Kapoor and Yash starrer is now on course to earn an estimated Rs 68 crore nett in India, taking its three-day total close to Rs 180 crore nett.
Interestingly, the film is gaining momentum just as demand in some parts of the country is starting to outstrip the number of available shows. The Hindi version is expected to bring in around Rs 50 crore nett on Saturday, while the South Indian dubbed versions are adding roughly Rs 18 crore nett. Both have picked up significantly, though for slightly different reasons.

Diwali celebrations seem to have kept some Hindi-market audiences busy during the day, even as the film posted a healthy jump. In the South, the bigger issue is finding a seat. Demand is especially strong in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Bengaluru, where several shows are close to selling out. In Chennai, evening tickets have been particularly hard to find for both the Hindi and Tamil versions.

Fresh Talent Finds a Place in Big-Ticket Films as Ramayana, Jailer 2 and Eetha Bring Emerging Actors Into Focus
Nov 5, 2026That raises the question of how much more the film might have earned if more shows had been available in these markets. Demand is already carrying into Sunday, with advance bookings looking encouraging.
The overseas performance gives the film another reason to celebrate. The United Kingdom is emerging as a standout market, with Saturday collections expected to top GBP 700K and possibly approach GBP 800K. That could put the film in the running for a remarkable single-day record for an Indian release in the territory.
The UAE is also picking up after a relatively slow start, while North America continues to see strong advance sales. Together, overseas markets are expected to bring in more than USD 6.5 million on Saturday, and the total could reach USD 7 million.
What makes Saturday especially interesting is the mix of strong audience demand and limited theater capacity. Ticket availability remains tight in South Indian markets, while the Hindi version has another key opportunity ahead. Monday will be an important test of whether the film can keep up its momentum after the festive weekend.
