In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood actor Nitesh Pandey, known for his memorable role in the blockbuster movie “Om Shanti Om,” passed away at the age of 50 due to a suspected heart attack.

The news of his untimely demise has left the entertainment industry and his fans in a state of mourning. Nitesh Pandey was found dead in a hotel in Nashik, Maharashtra, where he was staying at the time.

According to reports from the news agency ANI, Nitesh Pandey was discovered lifeless in a hotel in Igatpuri, Nashik. Initial investigations indicate that he suffered a heart attack, but the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

The local police are currently at the scene, conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing. The postmortem report is awaited, and the authorities are questioning the hotel staff and individuals close to Nitesh Pandey to gather more information.

The loss of Nitesh Pandey adds to a string of recent tragedies in the industry, as highlighted by filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s tweet, expressing condolences for the untimely deaths of three young actors. This period of loss has undoubtedly cast a somber shadow over the film fraternity, leaving everyone in a state of disbelief and sadness.

Nitesh Pandey’s acting journey began in 1990 with theater productions, where he honed his skills and showcased his passion for the craft. In 1995, he received his first acting opportunity in the television show “Tejas.” Over the years, he became a familiar face on television, appearing in popular serials such as “Manzilein Apani Apani,” “Astitva Ek Prem Kahani,” “Saaya,” “Justajoo,” and “Durgesh Nandini.” His portrayal of Anwar Sheikh, the assistant to Shah Rukh Khan’s character in the 2007 film “Om Shanti Om,” remains etched in the memory of fans.

Nitesh Pandey’s talent extended beyond television and into the world of cinema. He showcased his versatility in various films, including “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai” (2002), “Dabangg 2” (2012), “Mickey Virus” (2013), “Shaadi Ke Side Effects” (2014), “Hunterrr” (2015), “Madaari” (2016), “Rangoon” (2017), and “Badhaai Do” (2022), among others.
