He defeated Priyanka Chahar Choudhary to become the new captain of the house. After Bigg Boss announced him as the captain, he asked him to choose two co-contestants and he chose to save Priyanka and Sajid Khan from the nomination.
Later, Priyanka and Ankit indulged in a heart-to-heart conversation where they spoke about their bond. During this, the actor told her that he doesn’t want to ever get married because he feels people should prioritise themselves.
The episode also saw Archana Gautam flirting with Ankit. She told Priyanka that she is attracted to him. She later said that Ankit reminds her of Jamie Dornan from “Fifty Shades of Grey”.

With the first day of his captaincy ending on a high note, we can only expect to see more of Ankit, and his classic one-liners in the coming days.
