As the world gears up to celebrate World Dance Day on April 29, the Vaghela brothers share their heartfelt connection with dance, emphasizing that for them, “dance is pure emotion.”
Even though they don’t identify themselves as professional dancers, the Vaghela brothers believe that dancing always uplifts their spirits. “Whenever we do Garba, it instantly lifts our mood. Dance never fails to make us feel better,” they say with a smile.
When asked about the emotions they associate with dance, they explain, “There isn’t any specific personal emotion connected because we are not professional dancers. But we genuinely love dancing and enjoying the moment.”
While they haven’t danced much with family at home, they fondly recall dancing with friends during functions and celebrations. “Those memories are really special,” they add.

When it comes to Bollywood inspirations, the Vaghela brothers admire Hrithik Roshan, praising his unique style and effortless swag. “Hrithik’s dance has a different level of energy and style which we absolutely love,” they remark.
As dance enthusiasts, they are particularly drawn to the high-energy performances often seen in Tollywood films. “Tollywood songs are full of energy and are so vibrant. We would love to learn those dance styles. And of course, being Gujaratis, Garba is our all-time favorite!” they share proudly.
Speaking of favorite songs, one track that holds a special place in their hearts is the iconic “Chaiyya Chaiyya.” “This song reminds us of our childhood. We used to listen to it on a toy phone and dance our hearts out. It brings back so many joyful memories,” they recount fondly.
