Astrologer Rinhee Suberwal, who is also a choreographer as well as a past life regression therapist, vaastu consultant, numerologist and crystal healer, says that she owes her life achievements to her father-Vijay Subberwal. She adds that he has always inspired her to dream big.
“My father has played a big role in making me the person I am today. My parents have done so much for me, and I know I can never fully repay them. But when I talk about my father, he has always been my biggest source of inspiration. I have become strong because of him. I work hard because of him. I truly look up to my father,” she says.
Talking about her plans for Father’s Day, she says, “For me, every day is Father’s Day because I have always been a very family-oriented person. I am very straightforward and hardworking. Whatever I feel, I say it honestly, I don’t manipulate or hide things. This nature of being truthful and direct has come from my father.”
Rinhee has some wonderful childhood memories with her father. “One of my favorite memories with my father is from the monsoon season. We used to wait eagerly for the rains. At that time, we were living in a bungalow in Madhya Pradesh, in Chhattisgarh. My father is in the merchant navy and after returning home from sailing. During the monsoon, he used to buy different kinds of soaps from abroad . Then, both of us would go out into the garden and bathe in the rain using those soaps. It was so much fun! That’s one of my most special and favorite memories of being with my father. He used to get all kinds of foreign chocolates for me because he knew how much I loved them,” she says.
Comparing her father to on-screen dads, she says, “My father is a lot like Anupam Kher’s character in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He’s fun, friendly, and very supportive just like him. My father and I are very spiritual. We love doing remedies, meditation, and exploring things related to the occult. We enjoy discovering new practices and learning more about them. We also love to travel together, visit different places, and try different kinds of food.”
