Entrepreneur Gauravv Saxena believes Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to follow a script. For him, the occasion is less about roses and candlelight dinners and more about reflection, freedom, and self-connection.
“Valentine’s Day isn’t about the traditional roses-and-dinner routine for me,” he says. “When you’re single, it’s actually a perfect excuse for intentional self-care.”
Rather than treating the day as just another date on the calendar, he sees it as a moment to pause. “I don’t look at it as just another workday. I see it as a day to slow down and check in with myself.”

In an era dominated by curated couple photos and viral declarations of affection, he remains unaffected by online pressure. “Do I feel the social media pressure? Not really,” he says. “After living in different cultures and traveling extensively, I’ve realized that public expectations are often just a performance.”
He prefers intimacy over spectacle. “I enjoy a low-key vibe or spending time with a close circle of friends who keep things grounded. True connection doesn’t need a viral hashtag to be valid.”

Mar 20, 2026Having lived in places like Uganda and traveled through Europe, he says his understanding of love has broadened. “I’ve seen love celebrated in so many different ways around the world. Compared to that, the commercialized version we often see on social media feels a bit hollow.”
Being single at this stage of his life has also reshaped his definition of love. “To me, love now means peace, presence, and purpose,” he reflects. “It’s the love I have for my son, the spiritual energy I experience through sound healing, and the passion I pour into my creative work.”
Instead of searching for external completion, he focuses on internal wholeness. “It’s less about ‘finding the one’ and more about being whole as one.”
On the topic of remarriage, he speaks with calm openness rather than urgency. “Marriage is a significant chapter,” he says. “I’m not actively looking to rewrite it, but I believe in staying open to what life brings.”
Any future partnership, he adds, would need to align with his lifestyle and philosophy. “If someone comes along who complements my freedom and shares my vision for an ‘unexplored’ life, I’d consider it—but there’s no rush.”
For him, love transcends labels and timelines. “Love isn’t just a relationship,” he says thoughtfully. “It’s a state of being.”
