Renowned astrologer, tarot card reader, crystal healer, and choreographer Rinhee Suberwal is celebrating her marriage anniversary on 7th February with her partner, Choreographer Pramod Kumar, and the occasion has prompted her to reflect deeply on the lessons marriage has gifted her. For Rinhee, the journey has been far beyond companionship—it has been a path of patience, acceptance, emotional understanding, and profound karmic healing.
Speaking about the evolution of her relationship, Rinhee shared that marriage has transformed her perspective in many ways. “Marriage has taught me patience, and it has made me understand that everything in life is not how you want it to be. You have to accept the other person and you really need to make efforts from your side if you want the relationship to work. Both individuals function according to their own needs, and to build a long-standing marriage, a high level of acceptance is essential—this is what I have truly learned.”
Drawing wisdom from her nani and mother, she added that positivity is a powerful tool during difficult phases. “We need to understand that love is love, and situations will change, but the other person will retain their nature. The only thing that helps is staying positive. We must stop repeatedly discussing our troubles and instead speak positively, giving our best shot. In the beginning it is difficult, but slowly and steadily, you learn. We are human and we all have issues, but we must never forget why we came into this relationship.”

She believes every family carries forward deep-rooted patterns that influence relationships. “There are so many karmic patterns each family carries. According to the highest law of attraction, we need to recognise the resentments we hold and the unresolved issues with our parents, because the kind of people we attract in life often mirror those patterns,” she explained.
Transformation, she says, begins with self-upgradation. “Unless we upgrade our emotional and spiritual skills, we repeat the same patterns. If your partner doesn’t gel well with you, it means somewhere you didn’t gel well with your parents either. Marriage makes you realise the solid karmic patterns, negativity, and lower-vibration defects a family carries. But when you take an oath that after you no one will carry those issues forward, that dissolves negative karma. I say this as a healer because I go beyond the normal dynamics of society—marriage is a karmic and healing journey.”
Rinhee also emphasised the importance of individuality within a partnership. “Having an identity of your own is important, but being interdependent is even more important than being independent,” she shared, highlighting the balance that keeps relationships grounded.
