Gauri Chatterjee is a resident of Nadia district of West Bengal. Seeing her immense love for acting, her family supported her and Gauri entered the world of film industry while doing her graduation. But before entering the industry, she did modeling. She was honored with the Government of India Award 2024 in Jaipur in the field of acting.

She wants to work with South Indian actors like Mahesh Babu, Surya in films. Gauri likes the acting of Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Parveen Bobby, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Verma, Pankaj Tripathi. 'Dil To Pagal Hai' is her favorite film and she is very impressed with Madhuri's character in this film.
