Rapper and musical artist Anurag Desiworldwide’s recent song Tauba is a massive hit, and he couldn’t be happier. Be it views on YouTube or the number of reels made on the song, Anurag says that it is surely going strong, days after its release.
“The song is unique because we have used Indi Pop music, and moreover it’s a Hindi song! Previously, I have done Punjabi and Haryanvi songs and this one is special because my rap is also in Hindi. So, the song has a complete hip hop touch. We were quite experimental with the music and lyrics,” says the artist, who has given hits such as Sachi Gall, by Angrej Singh in 2018, Nakhra by T series in 2019, Jaanlewa and Heartbeat by Pragati Music in 2021, Dubailand by Aj in 2021.
He adds, “The response is quite cool and we got like more than 2 million hits on YouTube. We have around 10K+ reels on the song as well. It’s running strong after even 10 days of release.”

Apr 4, 2026Talking about the team behind the hit, he says, “The female lead is Kanishka Sharma and the female voice was given by Harshita Gupta, a Delhi-based singer. The music has been done by Delhi-based music director Dheeru Khola and Ashwin Bidlan, lyricist and rapper.”
Meanwhile, Desiworldwide says that rap is a form of music that will always do well. “Rap has been ruling the hip hop culture for a decade now and people have started experimenting with different musical forms. Trust me, everything works around rap. It enhances the music, enhances the entire texture of the song, enhances the artists…everything and moreover, it looks cool!” he says.
Talking about the songs he wants to make in the future, Anurag says, “I want to make Hindi music where I can mix it other music styles like Arabic, Afro and Latino. I want to mix all of them and make something unique which we can play everywhere! I have been a fan of happy music and I am just being experimental now.”
