International Day of Happiness is celebrated every year on March 20th, reminding us of the importance of happiness in our lives. This year, &TV, one of India's leading television networks, celebrated the day by spreading happiness and laughter through its popular comedy shows, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan.
The lead artists from these shows, including Yogesh Tripathi, Kamna Pathak, Vidisha Srivastava, and Aasif Sheikh, shared their thoughts on the significance of happiness and how their shows have spread joy into people's lives.

She says, "It's not just about making funny faces or expressions or cracking jokes. It is about creating relatable moments or dialogues that strike a chord." The show has achieved this successfully, and each character's personality and catchphrases have caught up beautifully with the audience, entertaining them and spreading joy and laughter into their lives.
Aasif Sheikh, who plays Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, believes that bringing happiness into someone's life is one of the greatest gifts anyone can give. He feels fortunate that the audience has appreciated and enjoyed each of these characters, bringing smiles to their faces. His character allows him to accomplish the task of making the audience laugh and get entertained, giving him tremendous satisfaction and happiness.
Yogesh Tripathi, who plays Daroga Happu Singh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, believes that the best way to live a happy life is to find humour in everyday problems. He says, "Whenever I am on set practising my lines, I ask myself, 'Will this entertain my audience? Is it funny enough?'" He feels a responsibility to deliver happiness to the audience daily and is proud that people expect him to get them to laugh in his Happu tone wherever he goes.
