Mumbai: Actor Aditya Khurana, who is part of the show Kyunki Rishon Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai, loves exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures. He has also played a negative lead in Dangal TV’s Bade Ghar Ki Chhoti Bahu and featured as the lead alongside Shivangi Joshi in the short film Love X Society. Having travelled to destinations such as London, Paris, other parts of Europe, the Maldives, Kashmir and Thailand, along with several places across India, the actor has experienced different kinds of travel. He shares his travel preferences, favourite experiences and the destinations he would love to explore next.
Talking about his travel style, Aditya says, “I enjoy a mix of experiences when I travel. I like exploring a city's popular attractions, understanding its culture, trying local food and discovering places that are different from what I see in my everyday life. Having travelled to places like London, Paris, the Maldives, Kashmir and Thailand, I feel every destination has its own charm. Some places are perfect for sightseeing and exploring, while others are ideal for relaxing and taking a break from your routine. I like experiencing both sides of travelling.”
Speaking about the destinations that have stayed with him, the actor shares, “London and Paris have their own charm, especially because of their architecture, culture and the overall atmosphere. Europe offers so much to explore, and every place has a distinct identity. The Maldives is a completely different experience because of its beautiful beaches and peaceful surroundings. Kashmir is also incredibly beautiful, with its mountains and scenic landscapes. I think what makes a destination memorable is not just what you see there but also how you feel while experiencing it.”

Oct 29, 2026When asked who brings out the best traveller in him, Aditya says, “I enjoy travelling with friends because it makes the entire experience more fun. Exploring a new place together, trying different cuisines, taking pictures and making spontaneous plans are some of the things that make a trip memorable. At the same time, I believe travelling is also about being open to new experiences. Whether you are exploring a city abroad or discovering a beautiful place in India, the company and the experiences you share make the journey special.”
For Aditya, travelling is about much more than taking a break from work. He explains, “Travelling allows you to step out of your comfort zone and see the world from a different perspective. When you visit a new country or even a different part of India, you get to experience different cultures, lifestyles and traditions. It also gives you time to disconnect from your daily routine and return with fresh energy. I feel every journey teaches you something, whether it is about a place, the people you meet or even yourself.”
Sharing the three things he never leaves home without when travelling, the actor says, “My phone, a power bank and my essential skincare products are three things I always carry. My phone is useful for navigation, staying connected and capturing memories, while a power bank comes in handy when you spend the entire day exploring. I also make sure to carry my skincare essentials because travelling often means spending long hours outdoors. These little things help make the journey more comfortable.”

Oct 29, 2026Talking about a destination on his bucket list, Aditya shares, “I would love to explore more of Europe and discover places that I have not visited yet. What attracts me to Europe is the diversity it offers. You can experience different cultures, architecture, food and landscapes within the same continent. I enjoy discovering how people live in different parts of the world, and I would love to keep exploring new destinations and adding more experiences to my travel memories.”
If given the opportunity to live anywhere in the world for a month without work commitments, the actor says, “I would choose the Maldives. The idea of spending a month surrounded by beautiful beaches, clear water and peaceful surroundings sounds wonderful. I would love to wake up without an alarm, enjoy the view, spend time by the sea and explore the place without rushing through an itinerary. As our professional lives can get quite busy, having that kind of time to slow down and enjoy the moment would be a great experience.”
Recommending a destination for someone looking for peace, inspiration or a fresh perspective on life, Aditya adds, “I would recommend Kashmir. The natural beauty, mountains and peaceful surroundings make it a wonderful place to unwind. There is something special about being surrounded by nature and taking a break from the usual rush of life. You can spend time enjoying the views, exploring the local culture and simply appreciating the beauty around you. I feel a trip like that can help you return with a refreshed mind and a different perspective.”
