The Thursday episode of Rajan Shahi's "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" started with Harshvardhan talking to someone over the phone about getting singer Kumar Sanu for an official event. He tells the person on the phone that he won't be able to come as he has a family function to attend. Manjari overhears his conversation and thanks him for attending the sangeet. He tells her that he doesn't need her sorry or thank you and leaves from there. Later, Abhimanyu comes to her and asks her to fix his kurta for the sangeet. He then gets a call from someone and leaves.
Meanwhile, the Goenkas are all set to attend the Sangeet and ask Akshara to come quickly. Akshara looks beautiful and they compliment her. The Goenkas then leave for the sangeet and are welcomed by the Birlas with a performance on "Swag se swagat". They also join them after a while. Manjari later tells Akshara that she is looking lovely. Akshara then asks how she is and Mahima who was standing there tells Aarohi if she won't ask Manjari how she is. She taunts them that it was such a big accident and the one who is behind it will be charged with a hit-and-run case. Both Akshara and Aarohi get worried when they hear her. Aanand then taunts Akshara that she has a new department under her and she should take Manjari as her patient and sing to her as part of therapy.
Akshara then looks for Abhimanyu and calls him continuously but he doesn't pick. He later calls her name from the main door and sings "Tujhe dekha toh". While everyone mocks Abhimanyu for his singing skills, they are shocked to see that he has brought Kumar Sanu with him to surprise Akshara.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that everyone is dancing to Kumar Sanu's song and the Goenkas are on the verge of losing but Akshara cheats. Harshvardhan taunts Abhimanyu on this. To know what happens next, keep watching "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai".
