The Friday episode of Rajan Shahi's "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" started with the Birlas complaining about the food that their house helps had made. He tells them Manjari used to cook food by herself for them. Harshvardhan then says that she should have kept a good cook for their home. They then get a call from the Goenkas inviting them for some rituals. Swarna tells them they need to do puja of their jamaai and it will also give them an opportunity to host Akshara's would-be in-laws. Mahima tells them that they are on a tight schedule but will try to come. After a while, Akshara calls Abhimanyu and tells him that he will be well taken care of once he comes to the Goenka house.
Once Abhimanyu reaches he finds the main gate closed. Akshara opens it for him and starts dancing around. Abhimanyu tells her that he is scared of what she is doing. Later, Kairav, Vansh and Aarohi too come there and Abhimanyu wonders what are they going to do next. He waits for his family to come. Once Neil, Mahima and Shefali reach there, Abhimanyu gets a little confident.
Later, Akshara tells him that she has made various items for him and makes him eat a dish made of sweet potato. Abhimanyu is allergic to it but keeps eating because he did not want to upset Akshara. Mahima then sees Abhimanyu scratching his hands and asks Akshara how can she not know that he is allergic to sweet potato. Akshara apologises to them. A little later, Abhimanyu feels fine and the Goenkas apologise to him. Once Mahima, Neil and Shefali leave, Abhimanyu wonders that Akshara must be upset with whatever happened.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Anupamaa is teaching dance steps to Akshara and Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu then asks Akshara why she is not wearing Naira's earrings, Akshara tells him that she couldn't find them to which Abhimanyu asks her if Aarohi took it on purpose. Akshara asks him to not doubt Aarohi. Anupamaa overhears their conversation and tells them that they shouldn't be arguing, but they should enjoy each and every moment leading to their wedding.
