The Wednesday episode of Rajan Shahi's "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" started with Abhimanyu making a grand entry at the Goenka villa. Everyone is happy to see him there. He takes everyone's blessings and the family welcomes him. At the main door, Aarohi stops Abhimanyu and tells him that he can only enter with her permission. The Birlas are shocked to hear it. Suhasini then tells them that it's a ritual that the sister-in-law does. Aarohi then shows him a plate of batasha and covers it, she then asks him to tell her how many pieces are there. Abhimanyu tells her that it's not fair but she said that it's only after he tells her the number that she will let him enter.
Abhimanyu starts moving backwards and then jumps inside. He tells them that if the bride's side has their rituals, then the groom side also has an attitude. Aarohi gets upset seeing this.
Aanand appreciates Manish for the warm welcome and Manish stands in front of him with folded hands. Abhimanyu tells him that he is not supposed to do it, and if does it again he will scold him. Manish then thanks Manjari for coming, and asks her about Harshvardhan. He then tells her that it's ok, he knows it would have been difficult to convince him. Akshara then sees Manjari crying and tries to call Harshvardhan. He doesn't pick her call and she accidentally drops her phone, and while picking it up her sleeves tear up.
Neil tells Abhimanyu that he should go meet Akshara. Abhimanyu finds her fixing her sleeves and goes to help her. A very cute moment between Akshara and Abhimanyu happens then, and Akshara even makes fun of his stitching. He then asks her for his fees. Akshara leaves saying he will never get it.
In the upcoming episode, we will see that Suhasini tells Manjari that they have a ritual where a kalawa is tied on the groom's father's wrist. Meanwhile, we see that someone has gone to Harshvardhan and he is asking them why they have come here. At the Goenka villa, the family asks Kairav and Vansh to get Akshara, just then they hear her voice from the main door and are shocked to see her crying.
