Singer Megha Kishore, along with her family, recently went to Rishikesh for 3 days and they had a gala time.
Talking excitedly about her trip, she says,” We were there for 3 days and it was my idea to visit Rishikesh, as I wanted to spend time with my family. I’m a big nature lover. It gives me immense peace to be amidst nature - it has the ability to heal us.
We also did camping there and stayed for a day. It was a great experience. At night we did bonfire, sat together near the water and enjoyed, danced and sang while playing antaakshri. Antakshari was definitely the best activity together.” Megha also did something which she was really looking forward to. She penned down a song and she is currently working on a plan to release it very soon.
She further adds,”Short breaks are important for your own mental peace because people are too busy with their careers. They have forgotten the real fun of their lives. I feel very connected to God and I love going to holy places. It gives me a lot of inner peace and visiting such places with family is way more fun. And if you manage to write a song - which was my dream - nothing could be better!"
