Shivam Khajuria is a part of Dangal TV’s popular drama Mann Sundar. He plays the role of Nihar Goyal in the fiction. The actor shares that the show has taught him a lot about his art.
“Mann Sundar has literally been the start of my career. It has taught me so many things about my art and helped me better my craft. It has given me the opportunity to experience and work with such talented people. The makers have ensured that quality of the content is also maintained. There have been a lot of obstacles during the shoot but we bounced back every single time,” he says.
The show is high on drama and emotion, which in a way touches the viewer’s heart. “I think our audience has always loved things that are intense and they connect to this level of drama. The concept of victory of good over evil is deeply rooted within us and we have shown yet once again with this narrative,” he continues, “The best and worst thing about daily soap is the amount of time for preparation. It’s also best because it really makes you work under high-pressure situations and also lets every character have its own journey. Can’t say the worst, but yes sometimes I feel because there is this pressure of delivering content, quality at times gets compromised.”

As dal chawal is the comfort food you want to have at the end of a long tiring day, TV shows provide the same sort of comfort and familiarity everyone seeks.”
Mann Sundar has a loyal fan base. Shivam sounds happy about the response and says that the experience so far has been good, especially because of the people associated with it.
“The team is like a family. Audience love is a blessing and we have constantly been getting it in abundance. It’s only possible because we have been loyal to the viewers and never took one day for granted and vice versa. Dangal channel has encouraged us so much and let us be in our zone. Looking forward to more partnerships in future with Dangal TV,” he ends.
