Shirin Sewani who is celebrating her birthday today, has a confession to make. Well, most Actors diet all through the year except for their cheat days and ll special days like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Shirin is one actress who doesn't diet, rather is a huge foodie and loves food. Shirin shares, "So, I am a huge foodie and I love eating as well as cooking. I have never really been on a diet or keep any fasts except for Karwachauth last year. To he honest, on Karwachauth I was really missing food throughout the day but the excitement of the fast and that excitement of getting ready and that excitement of celebrating for the first time with the family, kept me so occupied ki time kab nikal gaya pata hi nahi chala. But yes by the evening I had lost patience and I was literally waiting for the moon and when I saw that it was raining I got quite tensed. Also, the fact that my husband was keen on keeping the fast and he did keep it, motivated me. I had requested him to have water, tea, etc. so he was fasting in that way, where he was having liquids." Shirin continues, "My husband is a really lucky man as he has got me because I love cooking and I cook the Desi Indian delicacies and not just new exotic dishes, so for him it's a win-win as he gets to relish all kinds of cuisines and delicacies. Imagine if he had to be married to someone who diets, so in a way he is happy that I am a foodie. In fact, he really appreciated when I had kept the Karwachauth fast and was quite surprised I pulled it off. On this birthday, I just hope and pray that this togetherness and this understanding towards each other is always there. And he is the only one for whom I can fast and ve away from food for an entire day."
