Being an actor is not an easy task, more so in today’s scenario, feels Gaurav Singh. The Shiksha Mandal actor shares his opinion on the same while talking about what has been the most challenging part of his journey till date and why.
“I think yes, it's a little tough to be a full-time actor today. The uncertainty that’s there in the industry is the challenge. You never know what’s going to happen next and you just have to keep a blind faith in destiny. But, you can’t just sit folding your hands and wait for your luck to do the work. You need to work hard, give your 110%, that's all you have to do and only then, if you’re lucky enough, you can make it big in the industry. I think to get to the right person to audition was my most challenging part in the journey so far,” he says.
Ask if he gives more importance to luck or hard work and Gaurav answers, “It’s true that an artist will never be satisfied and will always want to perform different roles during their journey. Actors also need to accept that if they are not getting their desired roles, they now have the opportunity to create their own identity online via platforms like YouTube, social media, OTT etc.”

This helps them sail during times when there is no regular work coming in. Not just this, it also allows them to make decisions on what kind of role they want to do and demand the remuneration accordingly,” he adds
