Prateek Sharma's new show "Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan" went on-air Monday. The show begins with Radha praying at a temple in Vrindavan for Mohan, whom she worships. She remembers how he gave her Bhagavad Gita after her mother passed away and told her that it will become her companion forever.
At the same time we see Mohan riding a cycle, and later going for a swim in a nearby pond. A priest who was sitting there taunts him that he has killed his wife and god will punish him. He tells him that he can help him if he does a puja and makes a donation of Rs. 51,000. Mohan gives him Rs. 1,02,000 and tells him it's for the other sin that he is going to do and that is killing him. Just then a few men come there and their leader tells Mohan that he will take revenge from him for killing his sister. Mohan fights in defense but his mother calls him and he leaves from there.
Once Mohan reaches home, we see his mother has tied a raksha sutra with bells around the door. While going inside Mohan accidentally breaks it but his mother stops it from falling. Her hand starts to bleed and Mohan gets worried seeing it. He gives her first-aid and she tells him it's a big day for them.
Meanwhile, we see Radha's grandmother and her father talk about Mohan and his family coming to town. It was happy news for Radha and she started preparing to welcome them. Her grandmother feels that Radha's worship will soon fall into love and wants to save her from getting heartbroken. She asks her to cook something for Mohan and when she goes in the kitchen she locks her from outside. Radha makes kheer for Mohan but gets upset when she finds the door locked. She climbs up the vent and successfully comes outside. She takes the kheer and rushes to meet Mohan.
Mohan and his family are ready to leave. Mohan's father argues with his mother and calls her Mohan's step mother, but Mohan interrupts him and tells him that even though she is his step-mother she has loved him like her own.
Mohan and his family reach a temple where Radha learns that Mohan is getting engaged. Radha gets upset seeing this, however, she feels that Mohan too is not entirely happy. She tells her grandmother that she will talk to Mohan about it.
