Actress Neelu Kohli has planned some major family time for Diwali this year. The actress says that she will be with her son and also make sure to follow all Diwali traditions.
“My son, who is a Merchant Navy officer, has just returned from his ship and so, this Diwali, I will be spending time with him. He will again leave for a voyage after that,” she says, adding, “We all would be in our festive attire also since these are festive times. I am also looking forward to enjoying some yummy sweets.”
Talking about the significance of the festival, she says, “Diwali, for me, is festivities. There are so many positive vibes, good food and everything is so bright. Everything feels so good I will be in Mumbai. We do Pooja, buy some gold, then spend some quality time with family. Since childhood we have been following this on Diwali. Also we make sure to not leave the house alone because on Diwali Maa Lakshmi comes. So, on Diwali we keep our doors and windows open, light up diyas.”
