Sony Entertainment Television’s mythological offering, Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala, details the beautiful mother-son bond shared between Yashoda Maiyaa and Lord Shri Krishna from Yashoda’s point of view. Weaved beautifully and elaborating on a mother’s love for her child, this story is a visual treat to the viewers.
Elated to be a part of the show, Reema Wohra who plays Yogmaya shares her experience and her journey in the show so far. Reema mentioned that she was casted because of her sharp features and her delivery skills that made the makers feel that her goddess like aura was a perfect fit for a mythological show like Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala. The creative director wanted her to play Yogmaya. But this is not it, viewers will witness Reema in multiple avatars in the show.
Highlighting about her character Yogmaya, Reema says, “Yogmaya’s role is very different from what I have done before. I have done historical shows. This is my first mythological show. Also, many viewers do not know Yogmaya as she hasn’t been introduced as much in the past. This show introduced Yogmaya in her truest sense.”
Talking about the various characters Reema would play in the show, she adds, “There are almost 12 to 13 characters that I will be playing in the show. Every character is different and unique. So far, I have been able to manage it well with the support provided by my team,”
