Mumbai, August 2022, Ganesh Chaturti is one of the most celebrated festivals in the city of Mumbai, as devotees from all over the country are known to come and take blessing from Lord Ganesha’s idols from ‘Lal Baugh Cha Raja’ to ‘Chintamani’, the entire city has a festive and celebratory atmosphere around. During this 10-day festival, many devotees bring the statue of Lord Ganesh home to serve and worship him. This is also the time when our beloved stars from the entertainment industry bring lord Ganesh to their home in order to pay him respect and seek his blessings.
One such celebrity is the Lead Actor of serial Mithai, Aashish Bharadwaj who brings the idol of Lord Ganesha to his home each year. When asked more about his experience with the festival, he mentioned “I have many fond memories of lord Ganesha which has made me his devotee since childhood. I still remember how excited I used to get in childhood as my mother used to bring lord Ganesha to our home every year, and I still remember I used to cry every year during Visarjan. Due to the pandemic, we couldn’t celebrate the festival in a proper manner, but this year, I and my entire family are super excited to be celebrating these special days with ‘Bappa’. Can’t wait to have lord Ganesha home.”
