It was as if destiny beckoned actress Hansa Singh to start the practice of tarot reading and now there is no turning back. Talking about how she got into doing it, Hansa says, “It goes back to 2004 where I learned Tarot. I was intrigued by its accuracy. I was supposed to travel to the USA and was wondering if I will get a visa. At that time, I was part of a group where tarot reading used to happen and every time my cards would say, ‘don’t worry, pack your bags’. So, as I was learning, I was also getting to know what’s in store, that’s what Tarot is all about. It’s about being precise. Thereafter, it was as if the universe chose me to learn all. I am very intuitive so I used to make predictions and by the grace of God, they used to come true. So, in 2010, I went to my native place and generally met Guru ji through my mom. I saw him using some modalities as I used to do too. So I just got more information and learned everything about pranic healing, reiki and astro occult, where we remove negativity and negative energies, which hinders and creates blockages in our lives. So yes, I am the chosen one by the universe.”
The curiosity to know what will come next and the desire to help people motivated her. “I have been intuitive about learning to be in the spiritual realm where I can help people, guide them and heal them,” says Hansa, who now practices it professionally.
Ask her the significance of this healing art in her life, and she says, “It’s peace at the very core level. Being spiritual is a zone where you surrender yourself to the Almighty. Thereafter, you will feel calm even in the most chaotic of environments. Healing is so therapeutic. Before you heal anyone, heal yourself. I live by this, literally.”
Her family has also often sought her help. “I am the go-to person in my family. Their trust in my healing is unbiased as they have seen it over the years. Friends have been healed and I feel happy and blessed. There have been cases like severe ailments to aches to not being able to conceive a baby, where this has helped. I thank the universe for trusting me to be the medium,” she says, adding, “To be honest, the question that people want answers to is ‘What is Tarot card reading’ as it’s known yet unknown to many people. But once they do it, they realise how efficient it is, even more than horoscope.”
In fact, tarot card and reiki healing has helped her as well. “A great deal. I became sorted and calm. It’s like you are in a state of knowing. So, you stay away from the mundane which might bring anxiety. This helps me in my acting career too as I know that the work that I'm doing has a reason for me to do it. Otherwise, it won’t come to me (even if it’s not what my heart desires). Aur kya chahiye zindagi mein, being in the state of surrender with the universe blessing you,” she says.
