French hair and make-up stylist Florian Hurel says that his work involves a lot of collaboration with others and the perfect balance needs to be maintained in order to be the most productive. “When it comes to styling anyone, importance is given to both the event and the outfit. Also, it’s a collaborative effort between the stylists, hair and makeup artists and the celebrity,” he says.
Talking about the latest trend in hair and make up, he says, “Keeping up the current trend, it’s important to keep it simple yet chic. That is what everyone is going for. And also, less is always more when it comes to make up.”
With OTT coming up in a big way, hair and make up techniques also differ. “For an OTT platform, it needs to be more real and natural. Every look is decided as per the brief that one will be working towards it on any platform,” he says.
