
Saanand Verma, who was seen in films like Mardaani, Chhichhore, Thank God, Patakha, Babli Bouncer, Raid and Sacred Games to name a few, is looking forward to celebrating Maha Shivratri on March 8. He says chanting “Har Har Mahadev” and feeling his power is the ritual of this festival for him.
Sharing the significance of Maha Shivratri, he said, “Maha Shivratri is a celebration of Lord Shiva. It is powerful, and in it, we deeply feel the presence of the divine in our existence. Observing the Maha Shivratri fast while expressing our faith in Lord Shiva is a symbol of strength and truth.”

The actor has kept a fast most of his life on Maha Shivratri, with occasional breaks, but this time he is planning to do it throughout the festival. He also stressed that true happiness in life comes by the grace of Shiva, and through the divine hand of the Almighty.
“The greatest secret to progress in life is having the support of Shiva. When Shiva wishes, only then can we find joy in life. Keeping Shiva pleased with our actions should be our constant effort,” he concluded.
