Chitra Vakil Sharma is celebrating the appreciation that the second season of Raktanchal has been garnering since its release on February 11. The producer is keeping a note of the feedback, for she believes there is always a scope to do better, learn more.
“After a successful season 1 in 2020 Raktanchal 2 is back with season 2. I am happy that this season is already exploding and making its marks. This is a crime drama series featuring Nikitin Dheer, Kranti Prakash, Mahie Gill, Ashish Vidyarthi, Karan Patel, and Soundarya Sharma, and I am happy with the kind of work all of them have done. We shot this season during the second wave. It was very difficult as we had schedules in multiple locations. Based on some true events that took place in Purvanchal, the series is shot in Uttar Pradesh. Season 2 is bigger and better,” says the associate producer of both the seasons.
Chitra feels people are enjoying the series because of the story. “They are also liking the characters and especially the newly added cast of Karan Patel and Mahie Gill,” she adds. Her next is yet another crime drama that will be shot this summer. “I am also launching my own music label Jupiter Sounds. So I have some plans regarding that as well,” she reveals.
