In the Saturday episode of Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot's "Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei" we see that Sameer is playing the piano once again. Pushpa, his mother, is happy that because of Chikoo she got her son back. When the police come to their house to click Chikoo's pictures, she tells them that her family took her. Gajak asks her why she lied, to which she tells him that if Chikoo had a family, they would have filed a missing report, but since no one has complained about her that means she is an orphan. She tells him that he will soon realise that this lie is only helping them.
Later, we see Chikoo sitting in front of the mirror and wondering what her name is. Pushpa comes to her and tells her that her name is Archie Khetan and she is her granddaughter. Chikoo is happy on hearing this and asks her about Sameer, Pushpa tells her that he is her father. Chikoo is happily dancing when Sameer finds her calling herself Archie. He asks Pushpa why she lied to her. She tells him that it's for their family's good and Chikoo's too because she has no one of her own.
Meanwhile, Nupur tells Milind that she will look for Chikoo and will only give up after she has tried everything.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Pushpa tells Sameer that they must accept Chikoo as their family and give her Archie's identity. Sameer agrees to it. Later, Nupur comes to Sameer's home and shows him a photograph of Chikoo and asks him if he has seen her. Just then Chikoo calls for Sameer and Nupur recognises the voice as Chikoo's.
