Sajid Nadiadwala’s highly awaited action-comedy ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is less than a week away from its release and the anticipation mounts with every passing day.
Earlier today, the makers flagged off ‘Bachchhan Paandey Ki Saawari’, a promotional campaign wherein a truck travels to 6 prominent India cities namely – Surat, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Jaipur, Udaipur and Ajmer which will each have different promotional activities centered around the film.
The truck that left Mumbai at 11am today was flagged off by Akshay Kumar aka Bachchhan Paandey and also carries a helpline number where audiences can dial in and speak to the man himself – the deadly Bachchhan Paandey.
Such was the reception that when ‘Bachchhan Paandey Ki Saawari’s truck reached Surat, the line crashed owing to the overwhelming number of calls.
In lieu of the development, the production house issued a statement stating, “The server line has crashed due to unprecedented traffic on the line. We regret the inconvenience. The lines are now restored and we look forward to your continued love.”
Directed by Farhad Samji, ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ also stars a talented ensemble starcast including Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez.
