Deepak Nirula, founder of the popular ice cream and fast food chain Nirula’s passed away recently. Actor Arun Mandola says that his childhood is full of memories of him enjoying the hot chocolate fudge there and reading this tragic news, reminded him of the same.
“During my school days, not a single day went by when I did not eat ice creams at Nirula’s. I was born and brought up in Delhi and I ate Nirula’s ice creams on a regular basis. Every day, I used to eat ice cream after school and a couple of times I even bunked my school and went for ice cream treats,” he says.
He adds, “Recently, I went to Delhi for some work and then I ate Nirula’s hot chocolate fudge. I have very beautiful memories of eating at Nirula’s and this was my best part.”
