Be it International Men’s Day or Women’s Day, ace designer Anjali Phougat says that such days don’t mean much to her. She adds that people you are special to us must be celebrated every day.
“I do not believe in dedicating one day to women or men. We all need to celebrate every day and cherish every moment in our life. Everyone’s opinion can be different but there are a lot of mens’ issues out there and a lot of men are vocal about these too. Some of them are focused on bigger agendas and driving businesses and the world economy, not that women are not!” she says.
She adds, “You should not judge people based on their gender. You cannot generalise that all men as being not as vocal as women. There are a lot of men in the political domain or political background, who speak about not just their issues, but global issues as well.”
