Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay actor Abhinandan Jindal says that his fashion sense has a lot to do with comfort. He adds that style needs to be something that makes one feel at ease.
“Fashion, for me, is not something which requires me to buy nor buy clothes, follow trends and be uncomfortable. It is something that needs to come naturally to you. I am not into trendy clothes. I'm a very basic person. I like to wear anything that makes me comfortable and if it suits me, I just like to wear that,” he says.
Ask him if he feels pressured to be in style all the time, and he says, “When you go out, yes, people are watching you. So yes, I do feel that you have to carry yourself and present yourself in a way that people will like. Otherwise, I like to be in a comfortable zone, but, at home, I also make sure that it also looks good. I usually do my shopping from Zara. Normal loose shirts and comfy pyjamas are something I like because they are comfortable and it's not like I have to show my body or I have to look good. I just want to be comfortable in my own skin.”

Talking about clothes that are comfortable for him, he says, “My comfort clothes are loose shirts and shorts as well as comfy pyjamas. Otherwise, when I go out for functions or events, or even on sets as well, sometimes when I go to parties, I have to wear something which looks good on me and enhances my personality and makes me look sharp. It's like an investment. If you're going in a public space and you have to look good because you are an actor. So, it is also part of your job. But yes when I'm around my people, I don't think about such things. I opt for denim jackets, denim shirts. I like wearing them.”
He says that he looks up to Shahid Kapoor as a fashion icon. “I like Shahid Kapoor a lot. I won’t say that I follow him but whenever I see his videos on social media, I definitely like to see what he is wearing because he knows what he is wearing according to his physique. It looks really good on him. Also, I like the styling of Rabir Kapoor as well. It's never over the top or extra. He always wears comfortable clothes which look good as well,” he says.
