Russia–India cultural friendship was celebrated at the grand opening ceremony of ‘Dream Vision’, a landmark solo exhibition by People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Nikas Safronov, held at the prestigious National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Mumbai. The inaugural event was graced by *Mr. Ivan Y. Fetisov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Mumbai, renowned pianist and artist’s son **Luka Safronov, and *Dr. Jaan Nissar Lone, Global President of the BRICS Culture Media Forum, underscoring the growing cultural synergy between the two nations.
The exhibition showcases 45 exceptional artworks spanning Safronov’s artistic evolution, blending classical realism, symbolism, and his signature Dream Vision style with immersive multimedia and AI-driven artistic elements. Specially curated for Indian audiences, the collection reflects Safronov’s deep admiration for India’s spirituality, mythology, and rich civilisational heritage.
Dignitaries at the opening emphasised the role of art as a powerful instrument of cultural diplomacy and people-to-people connection. Open to the public free of charge until *January 15, 2026, *‘Dream Vision’ stands as a meaningful testament to the enduring friendship, shared values, and creative dialogue between Russia and India.
