Mumbai: Sukhan Aur Cinema, organised by Katha Ghar Kaano Wala Cinema in association with Blue Eyes Film Factory, was successfully held on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at RDX Studio & Cafe, Versova, Mumbai.
The evening brought together poetry, shayari, stories and cinema in one gathering. The programme featured Vijay Arsh, Meraj Rampuri, Rehan Kaleem Sehyun, Honey Patel and Ghazal Sheikh. Qaseem Hyder Qaseem, Neeraj Neer, Himank, Dishank Bhatt “Shayar” and Qalandar also took part in the evening.
The event had a simple and intimate format, giving the performers space to present their work and the audience an opportunity to listen and spend time around poetry and cinema. The different performances brought their own styles and voices to the programme, making the evening varied while keeping its central focus on words, stories and music.
